Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School - Fairtrade Fashion Show
I was asked to host a fashion show and train models from Bryn Hafren School. After meeting the polite young pupils from the school I gladly agreed to take part. The fairtrade fashion show which took place on Thursday 6th March 2014 opened it's doors to the pupil's friends & family. The well put together show arranged by Miss Bashir took place in the main hall. Guests were welcomed with fairtrade branded cupcakes at the entrance. The evening begun with a welcome speech from the PDW and then followed by the Councillor Curtis who heads the fairtrade Committee. Special guest included the Mayor of Barry Town who also took part in drawing the raffle. Raffle prizes include very kind donations from Waitroses and Co- op hampers.

Guests of the show took part in a quiz about fairtrade and why they should support the fairtrade brand.
The show was in Aid of Fairtrade which fell on Fairtrade Fortnight (24 February – 9 March). The show also celebrated International Woman day and multicultural week. The young inspiring models strutted down the stage to independent women by Destiny's Child.
